Miroglio Group has consolidated its organization and production structure based on two main business areas: Fashion and Textile.
Miroglio Fashion, Miroglio Textile and Joint Venture, while coordinated by the Holding Company, can autonomously manage their whole supply chains, from creative design, to marketing, production, and sales. There are 12 production units in total in 7 countries and a close network of sub-suppliers.
In particular, Miroglio Group’s growth strategies aim at strengthening our presence in new emerging markets, through acquisitions and partnerships with some of the major local industry players.

Productive structure
Miroglio Textile

Miroglio Group is a leading manufacturer in Europe of printed fabrics. With a network of 6 production plants, Miroglio Textile produces and sells a wide range of printed fabrics - the Division’s core business - as well as plain-colour fabrics. It is also a major producer of yarns and transfer paper.
The Textile Division runs the entire production cycle, from design to sales, by means of two production plants for fabrics in Italy and Bulgaria, three for yarns in Italy, Bulgaria, and Turkey (Tunisie), and one production plant for transfer paper in Alba, all supported by the centralised warehouse located at the Group’s head office in Piedmont.
Miroglio Group’s Textile Division is the reference point for different types of B2B customers, with a wide product offering in several market sectors, from yarns to printed and plain-colour fabrics, to transfer paper.

FABRICS
Is the main business of Miroglio Group’s Textile Division.
With 5 printed fabrics collections (Miroglio Stampati, Giorgetti, Ulmia, Comoseta, Dream) and two plain-colour collections (Colori and Infinito), it accounts for 70% of the Division’s sales. Printed fabrics are Miroglio Textile’s core business. For many years now it has developed a comprehensive and successful product range to meet the tastes and fashion trends in the various markets, as well as the needs of many different types of clients. Miroglio Textile has become a market leader in Europe, by manufacturing and selling about 30 million meters of printed fabrics every year. In addition, every year, 10 million meters of plain fabrics are produced and sold by this unit. Production is carried out in the modern plants located in Govone, near Cuneo, as well as in Elin Pelin, Bulgaria.

YARNS
Originally set up in 1981 to meet the Group’s requirements for yarns, this company segment has quickly grown and become a successful business also abroad. With its specialist production of continuous polyester filament yarn and discontinuous cotton and viscose filament yarn, this unit today produces up to 20 million kilos of yarn, accounting for 20% of Miroglio Textile Division’s total turnover. Production is carried out in the modern plants located in Saluzzo, in the province of Cuneo, Nova Zagora (Bulgaria), and Boumerdes (Tunisia).

TRANSFER PAPER
With its Sublitex business unit, Miroglio Textile is one of the most important world manufacturers of transfer paper, with an annual production of approx. 30 million metres, entirely produced in the plant based in Alba. Sublitex accounts for 10% of the Group’s Textile Division, producing for the textile, clothing, accessories, furnishing, and building industries. In addition to standard transfer paper for application on fabrics, Sublitex also sells Decotrans (printed film for wood and aluminium ennobling), Texcover (for decoration of architectural and furnishing elements), and Gocce (coating films with ennobling resins).
Miroglio Fashion

Miroglio Fashion designs, manufactures, and distributes collections of 12 women’s fashion brands. Its product offering meets the needs of different market segments and targets. With a creative and design team exclusively working on each brand, Miroglio Fashion interprets fashion trends in line with the cultures of the countries where it operates, also through external collaborations.
Miroglio Fashion produces its collections by means of a network of company-owned production facilities or qualified sub-suppliers in various countries, including Italy, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, and China.

An international presence, with 12 brands and three market segments

FAST FASHION
It is the most innovative segment, focused on quick adjustment to new market trends, short lead times, and high flexibility for the release of new collections, from design to final delivery at the point-of-sale.
Motivi brand is at the top of this segment, first created in the ‘90s to meet the needs of a young target (from 20 to 35 years), through constantly changing product offerings and 440 outlets worldwide, owned by Miroglio as well as franchised. Oltre, created in 2001, is the natural prosecution of Motivi, with a reference target of women above 30 years of age and a network of 280 outlets. Fiorella Rubino, set up in 2004, with 110 outlets, is the fast fashion proposal for plus-size women.

PLUS SIZE
Miroglio Group is the leading company in the plus-size market segment with the Elena Mirò brand, present in 40 countries with 240 single-brand outlets, as well as corner shops in all major department stores and multi-brand outlets. Elena Mirò is the brand celebrating Miroglio’s presence on the fashion catwalks of Milano Moda Donna. The Group’s plus-size segment also includes the Luisa Viola brand, a line for all occasions and a good price-quality ratio, and two more brands in the plus-size product category, namely Per Te by Krizia, a designer plus-size product line, and Blutime Fashion, for a younger consumer target.

STANDARD

Elegant, modern, and international women are Caractère’s target, which is a line sold through single-brand boutique shops, corner shops, and multi-brand stores. Miroglio Group’s ‘regular’ segment has a comprehensive product offering with brands having different targets: Diana Gallesi, for more mature women, who want to stand out without giving up on their classic style; Claudia Gil, for practical women, who want good value for money; Dream, the line for all occasions, for modern consumers; Sym, a brand with a long experience in the French market, specialising in trousers, and distributed through over 140 outlets (single-brand and corner shops), as well as through a multi-brand network.
Joint venture

Miroglio Group constantly implements new strategies aiming in particular at a stronger presence in new emerging markets through acquisitions and partnerships with some of the major local industry players.

ELEGANT PROSPER
Chinese company established in 1988, Elegant Prosper has become an important player in the local market in medium-high range women’s clothing. In 2004, Miroglio Group acquired a 50% stake in this company, with a view to strengthening its distribution position, by initiating a strong retail expansion. Today Elegant Prosper owns 400 outlets all over China.
Elegant Prosper is present in the local market with the brand carrying the same name ‘Elegant Prosper’, for elegant, modern and metropolitan women, as well as with the new TBF brand, for more informal, young, and trendy women.
The company is also licensed to manufacture and distribute Elena Mirò in China, Miroglio Group’s historic brand for plus-size clothing.

AYAYDIN
The Ayaydin Group was first set up in 1996 as a retailer, and today has become one of the most prestigious and dynamic companies in Turkey. It has developed a strong position in the domestic market and a good presence also in Russia and Central-Eastern Europe, by selling its own brands in over a hundred single-brand outlets and in all major department stores. Ipekyol, the first brand created by Ayaydin, is designed for young, active, and metropolitan women; Twist, designed for teen-agers and young ladies with a sporty, comfortable, and colourful style; Machka, one of the most prestigious “pret-à-porter” brands in Turkey, is designed for women with an original and post-romantic style. In 2008, Miroglio Group acquired a 50% stake in Ayaydin, aimed at conquering a leading position in different countries, like Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
